Organizations and individuals Initiatives (in formation / nonprofit) Social enterprises Foundations Support format: Consulting Development Brief description offer: In the advisory fellowship, you will work closely with two startsocial coaches with whom you will tackle your areas of advice and your challenges. In addition to this intensive advisory process, you can take advantage of many other exciting offers and build a nationwide network. startsocial is aimed at initiatives in the idea phase, initiatives that are about to be implemented or are in their initial phase, as well as initiatives that are already running and have a specific need for advice. The scholarship is preceded by an application phase and an assessment by an honorary jury. Each initiative receives at least three jury feedbacks regardless of whether it receives a scholarship. Nonprofits Initiatives (in formation / nonprofit) Support format: Consulting Assessment Brief description offer: The offer is aimed at Nonprofits operating in Germany or initiatives that aspire to do so. If you are not in a position to spend the financial resources for legal consulting, we arrange pro bono engagement of lawyers who take on specific and time-limited consulting mandates. Legal matters from private individuals cannot be mediated. Relevant areas of law are, for example, corporate law (formation, spin-off, merger…), non-profit law/tax law, labour law, liability, grant and public procurement law, contract law, data protection law, trademark and labeling law, copyright and personality rights, etc. Languages in which the offer is available: German, English Who provides support here? Our teams help with questions on tax law and civil law – for example, on the choice of legal form/formation, articles of association, the use of funds or economic activities (for example, in relation to nonprofits), cooperation with other nonprofits, etc. The consultation is limited in time.
