Which support will you receive from us?

Our data consultation hours are the right place for you if you have any questions about data – whether you are just starting out or want to deepen your knowledge. We offer you individual advice where no question is too small or too big. Whether it’s about choosing the right tools, feedback on your ideas for data collection or support with data analysis – we take time for you and respond to your specific needs. If you need additional support, we will be happy to connect you with experts from our Data4Good community. This way, you will always find the right help to advance your data projects and understand them even better.

Pro bono volunteers are called ...

“Volunteers”

That's how long we've been offering pro bono deals:

We started as a student project in 2015 and today our network includes many volunteers with professional experience.

Mission:

We enable data scientists to use their skills and expertise for the common good. We help civil society organizations to strengthen their impact on society and develop further by running Data4Good volunteer projects and providing advice on data. Not only are we committed to using data for a good cause, but we also firmly believe that we should share our knowledge. That’s why we offer numerous training formats for nonprofits and volunteers. We also share our knowledge, code and materials publicly. Our community is the basis of our work. We bring together data analysts from different disciplines and levels of experience. We organize ourselves both online and on site in our local CorrelAidX groups. Our network is diverse and we understand it beyond the boundaries of the CorrelAid universe: everyone is welcome to support our mission to bring the value and benefits of data and data analytics to the world for the common good.

The visualization of the data has revolutionized our work. We have often used the maps in discussions with politicians, stakeholders and donors. Our counterparts have understood much faster and better what we achieve. We were able to convince existing supporters of our effectiveness and gain new supporters. The project really was a game changer for us.

I had been looking for a way to volunteer at as a computer scientist for some time and hadn't found anything suitable. That's why I was really happy when I saw that CorrelAid existed. I thought it was cool that I had the opportunity to volunteer as a software developer in PR and marketing. It allowed me to learn something new. I am very grateful for that!
